More than just talk.

Therapy is a series of understanding and purposeful conversations that can be coupled with useful tools for living better. Better mental and emotional well-being revolves around simple and natural skills and concepts, yet these can be difficult to do in practice. For many reasons, we often fight this process within ourselves. In sessions we discuss the cause of your distress, and work out the strategies to unhook and move past the chronic worries, anxieties, stress, guilt, and depressed mood that results from any number of stressful or traumatic life events. The overall goal is to lead to a more satisfying life aligned with your personal values.

I'm an integrative therapist. In practice this means I listen to you and then pull from several types of therapy to align with what works for you. I firmly believe that the best expert on your life is you, and my role is to help you be you-only better.

A Few Accomplishments

In practice for 30+ years. Member in good standing of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals. Awarded the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal for service to Canada in 2012.
